I have been playing Texas Holdem for a very long time and I know the basics very well. Im in a $ 50 buy in tournament tonight and I was wondering what a goodstrategy might be. I think the max ammount of players is 30.

The strategy will be determined by the number of starting chips, size of the blinds, and the speed the blinds increase. There are a lot of other factors too, but in the absence of any other information I’d start with that.
But as a general rule hang back for the first couple of blind levels only playing premium hands. Once you’ve established a tight image get more aggressive and bluff and steal a little more, in the later blind levels.
